House Rules
Living together in any community requires certain rules. For most people, these are self-evident, yet experience shows that things don't quite work without them.
1. Please register with me no later than 2 days after arrival to complete the registration form.
2. The apartment is a smoke-free zone. You may, however, smoke on the balcony. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtray provided.
3. Out of consideration for the neighbours, I ask you to observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM.
4. In the interest of our environment, I ask you to separate waste. The appropriately labelled containers are in the storage room. If you wish to empty the compost, simply place the bucket at my door. Please return PET bottles to the shopping centre. In Steckborn, the "waste bag fee" system applies. One bag is provided by me. Additional bags can be purchased from me at a unit price of CHF 1.00. Please dispose of full waste bags in the underground container. (See plan in Practical Information).
5. On the day of departure, I ask you to leave the breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. This will be loaded with additional items to be cleaned by the cleaning staff and run. To strip the beds in the morning and leave the apartment broom-clean. To vacate the apartment by 10:00 AM at the latest.
6. You are liable for any damage or loss of inventory caused by you. In this case, I ask you to notify me. Together we will find an amicable solution for compensation.
